The 2013 Brazilian Longevity Forums: with the view to contribute to a fresh debate on a global culture of care, two inter-connected events took place in Brazil in October 2013: the Sao Paulo Longevity Forum (Oct. 15) and the Rio de Janeiro Longevity Forum (Oct. 16-17). Both were organized by ILC Brazil. The outcome, approved unanimously, is the Rio Declaration “Beyond Prevention and Treatment: Developing a Culture of Care in response to the Longevity Revolution”. This initiative promotes the need for a global culture of care to accompany the longevity revolution around the world.
